German lender Deutsche Bank’s asset management arm DWS has appointed Elke Schoeppl-Jost as its regional head of Asia-Pacific, effective January 1, replacing Vanessa Wang who will retire at the end of the year.

Wang, during her distinguished career, held several senior leadership roles, including regional head of Asia-Pacific and CEO of DWS Hong Kong. During her tenure, she played an important role, the company notes, in developing the asset manager’s business and presence across Asia-Pacific.
