A partnership between Zhejiang-based Chint Solar and German firm Intec Energy Solutions has won the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to build the largest solar power plant in Romania. Once commissioned, the plant is expected to provide solar energy for up to 100,000 homes and eliminate about 160,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide each year.
